Walk-in Standard Finish

  • Metal skins, Galvalume: Gray (steel) color or mill is our standard finish.

  • Galvalume is steel coated with a combination of a galvanizing and aluminum materials.

  • Galvalume is more resistant to corrosion than galvanized with the strength of steel.

  • 26 gauge is the minimum thickness Dade incorporates into their designs.

  • Available in white, black or stainless steel interior or exterior finishes

  • Freezers, require a floor.

  • Cooler floors are optional.

  • Standard door dimensions measures 36”w x 76”h with two hinges on either right or left side.

Insulated Foam Properties, Values & Test Standards

 

  • Dade Engineering uses Panel Core 20 Extruded Polystyrene Foam (XPS/Gray) from the Dow Chemical Company for Walk-In Coolers and Freezers.

  • XPS R-Values of R-25 for coolers and R-32 for freezers.

  • R-value is the resistance to heat flow.

  • The higher the R-value, the better the insulation.

Industrial Insulated Metal Panels

  • Customized: Versatile for any configuration, able to provide a quote for any project no matter how big or small.

  • Quick Installation: Easy to maintain, interior rounded concave corners does not collect debris and easy to clean. Factory installed NSF vinyl panel gaskets are used.

  • Relocatable: Easily removable and configurable - wall, floor, corner and ceiling joints.  Light weight pre-assembled easily assembled minimum of 3 positive quick locking (cam lock) fasteners.  

  • Cost-Efficient: Made to measure, avoids waste, up to 39 ft. in panel length and usable width of 1000mm / 39 3/8”.  

  • Durable: Resistant to harsh environmental elements, panel thickness ranges from 1 9/16” up to 6” inches.

  • Aesthetics/Finish: Pleasing appearance, choice of finishes - standard or flat, optional panel thickness as well as coatings.

  • Insulation: High thermal insulation capacity, panel thickness choices ranging from 40mm/1 9/16” up to 150mm/6” inches.

  • Safe & Tested: Mechanically strong, fire tested (ASTM E 84) and strength tested (STEM E 8) for optimal & safe performance.

  • Stability: Dimensionally stable, up to 39 ft. in panel length and usable width of 1000mm/39 3/8” inches.

  • Seal: Water vapor tight, minimum 2.3 pcf density of 1.6” polyisocyanurate foam core. Panel sealant is odorless, non-corrosive, insoluble, will hold seal though temperature range of 160° to -50° on N.S.F. walk-ins.

  • Lightweight overlapping or in fitting stock sizes available.

  • Galvalume or stainless steel.

  • Polystyrene insulation with closed cell neoprene gasket flush-mounted switch with pilot light factory wired to vapor-proof light on interior flushed mounted digital thermometer.

  • Diamond plate kick plate, chrome plated hardware, key-latch, interior safety release, spring door closure and door sweep.

  • Barn door sliders available.
